Thank You General Mills!

Apparently General Mills recently reformulated GOLDEN GRAHAMS!! It used to contain milk, and now it's milk-free!! Yea! How often does a reformulation go the way of less allergens? Not very, as evidenced by the milk now in McDonald's fries and the milk now in Stonyfield Farms OSoy yogurt. I was thrilled to introduce Speedbump to my personal childhood favorite: The Indoor S'more!! These turned out exactly as I remember them, so ridiculously sweet I immediately cut the pan in half and gave it to the neighbors so we wouldn't be tempted to eat it all in one evening! The kids call these "sugarbombs"...but don't let that keep you from sneaking one for breakfast!

Dairy-Free Indoor S'Mores( Adapted from the Golden Grahams Box)

8 cups Golden Grahams Cereal
5 cups mini marshmallows
1 1/2 cups Divvies Chocolate Chips (or other allergen-free chocolate)
5 Tablespoons Fleishman's Unsalted Margarine (or other dairy-free choice)
1 teaspoon vanilla
1 cup mini marshmallows

1.) Measure the cereal into a huge bowl ( doesn't have to be microwaveable).
2.) In a large microwavable bowl, mix the 5 cups marshmallows, the chocolate chips and margarine. Microwave on high for about 2-3 minutes total, removing every 30 seconds to stir it. Heat until melted and smooth.
3.) Stir in the vanilla, and pour the goop over the cereal, mixing quickly by hand until the cereal is coated.
4.) Stir in the additional 1 cup mini marshmallows.
5.) Dump into a greased 9 x 13 pan and press firmly. I guess you're supposed to chill them, or at least let them cool for an hour, but they're really good when warm. Enjoy!
